2010 Olympics!

What a weekend! We spent 4 days up in Whistler and made the most of an action-packed adventure. We skied on the mountain 2 days. The snow was great up high and we had whole parts of the mountain to ourselves at times. We took Porter nordic skiing one day. We went to three olympic events (ski jumping, luge, and biathalon) braving rain, sleet, and snow (and all three mixed with sun at times). We partied in the village, watching the opening ceremonies, and saw Bode Miller. And of course we managed to slip in daily cocktail hour in the hot tub.

Aunt Meg took most of the pictures, so hopefully she can post more soon!

Weekend at Whidbey

We got together with the Adamsons, Breidenbachs, and Rehns (they showed up later!) for a great weekend up at Whidbey

Great food and drink all weekend--

chorizo eggs and blood orange mimosas (there was waffles and fruit as well!) courtesy of the Rehns

The Breidenbachs teamed up for Chicken Parm, Penne, and Asparagus

.... and of course the Adamson's came through with a delicious Mexican-inspired dinner accompanied by an entire bottle of Cazadores (probably the reason it wasn't caught on camera)!
