Porter Turns 3!

 WOW! can't believe our little guy is already 3! He is really into his barn and animals--thus, we decided on a cowboy themed party! Everyone came dressed in their Western best and we had a great BBQ, games, and animal hunt and then a pony and petting zoo come to the parking strip in our front for the kids--no, we did not get a permit, but everyone loved it! Keaton, I already feel sorry for you, as your 1st bday is just with small family :)

Fun memories on the beach...

Keaton turns 7 months!

Wow, hard to believe our little girl is already 7 months--has gone almost too fast! The most fun part of this whole journey has been to see porter become a big brother. He is absolutely amazing with her--every morning wakes her up saying, "good morning sweetheart"--melts me everytime! She is now eating foods, and he loves feeding her. also enjoying helping her to learn how to scoot around. and keeps her occupied and entertained in the car--a great little helper. we are working on sharing his toys when she grabs it--but getting better! Keaton is all smiles and talks (coos) even more than porter did--think we have two big talkers on our hands! its a busy house, but we are loving having two kiddos--

2011 Visit to Santa

2011 proved to be a much better visit to Santa! I think reading the Polar Express MANY times helped--he really believes in the magic of the "silver bell." It is even what he asked for xmas! He left saying, "mommy, I got to meet the "real" Santa!" I love seeing and experiencing christmas through his eyes this year--so magical! Keaton had just finished eating, and didn't even have time to burp by the time they needed her for the pic--thus the totally confused look! at least its not screaming!

Happy Halloween

First Halloween with two kiddos~ such fun! 5 straight days of putting on their costumes for some type of festivity! People loved the costume pairing: The UPS Guy and his package! Porter got into trick-or-treating but didn't get the candy was his--we have enjoyed some great treats as a result! I love those two--

People kept saying, "I love your package," (talking about his box) and Porter would respond, "her name is Keaton." precious

Wow has the time gone by fast!!! Keaton turned 4 months on October 21st! she is getting quite the personality--always happy, lots of big smiles and loves to laugh!
